Updated kernel and drivers
CompletedIt's hard to be happy running the supplied kernels in production when they are based on such old code. We've had a SAS controller reset issue only to find that the driver included in the 3.3.1 cloudboot centos 6 KVM kernel was released in 2012.
If I contacted OnApp support looking for help with code that was released in 2012 I'm sure I'd be told to upgrade. Can we get a proper upgrade schedule in place for keeping drivers reasonably current. Clearly we need properly QA'd updates, not just the bleeding edge releases, but 2012 was a long time ago and the 5 subsequent releases of this particular driver may include some useful fixes.
Thanks
David

Hi David,
We have changed our approach to Cloudboot Compute Resource kernels and drivers updates to include the most recent updates from CentOS. This approach should cover the outdated drivers and kernel in the ramdisks.
