    Hi

We've introduced this in VMware and will follow suit with Xen and KVM. It's our intention to ensure that all of the features across the HVs are comparable.

    Thanks, Stu

I guess there is no reason VMware and XEN machines couldn't share the same "Customer Network" and IP's could be pulled from the configured pool (as long as your XEN hosts and VMware hosts are on the same network)

This is needed for XEN! its 2015 and this is still not included! Something like http://openvswitch.org/ should be integrated.

We have removed customer networks from OnApp as of version 5.3.  However there are a few options you have to complete what your looking for in XEN compute resources:

Option A: In could create a VLAN and assign it a private billing plan for that user providing them only access to that network to be assigned to the 2 Virtual Servers.  This should allow for the two machines to talk with each other and its own broadcast domain.

Option B: You can allocated particular IP addresses to a user from a network.  This would allow the user access to IP addresses you assigned like a customer network did.  Then you could allow in the firewall rules for those machines to talk with each other.

Let me know if you need some further assistance making this work.
