We have users thinking they are changing their OnApp user password but they are changing their vCD password which then gets out of sync
If a user needs to change a password it would make more sense to instruct the users to change their password in the OnApp profile so the change is sync’d to vCD.
If the password had got out of sync for whatever reason, would it not make more sense to just instruct the user to change their OnApp password it would have the same result.
Having this additional vCD password option will just confuse end users. I appreciate the setting under their profile says “vCloud Credentials” but it is under their main profile settings with an option which says “ change password”
As a user I can forgive them for thinking that clicking the change password link maybe a good plan if I am looking to change my password and I am in my user profile settings. They are probably not going to think that they best ignore the “change Password” link and click the pencil at the top right hand side of the screen, which will then take them to another profile section to change their password.
It would make more sense to have this the other way around so at least the user has to actively go out of their way to change the vCloud password?
