It would be nice if we had more options for alerting.
Our help desk picks up emails and converts them into tickets and can route, based on data within the email. The issue right now we have some alerts going to that system. However lets say we have a compute resource go down, an email is sent saying it went down, and when it comes back up another email is sent. If we had options that would include like an event id in the subject it would allow our ticketing system to handle these alerts as one ticket, vs a ticket when goes down, and a new ticket when it comes back up.
Just a thought :)
