There can be many issues related to the retrieval of data between the OnApp Control Panel and the OnApp iPhone App.
This section explains how to solve some of the common Login Problems related to the iPhone Application:
- Request Failed/Invalid Response: This is most common when the Web Control Panel is not properly set up or is not giving the correct output format for API Requests.
- No Internet Connection: This occurs when the iPhone App couldn't successfully connect to the Web Control Panel Server due to a connection issue such as No Internet Access or due to an issue with the Control Panel Server itself.
- Bad Credentials: This error occurs if the Web Control Panel can not authorise you into your account using the Credentials you provided/stored into the iPhone Application.
If you receive any of these error messages, it's best if you first ensure you can login to the Web Control Panel from an Internet Browser.
If the Web Control Panel seems to be working fine, ensure that you have the required permissions listed in the 'Permission Structure' Knowledgebase Article associated with the User account you are trying to login as.
