My Dashboard is showing
Error: Unable to connect to licensing server.
What should I do?
This can occasionally happen if there was a lapse in communication with the licensing server. This can be very easily rectified by doing one of the following.
1) You can restart the licensing service in the OnApp UI (Settings > Licensing). There is a button at the bottom of the license page that says "Restart License Client".
2) From the command line in the CP:
cd /onapp/interface touch tmp/restart.txt
Afterwards, attempt to load any page in the web interface-- this should force the license client to restart.
If the above doesn't resolve the error, try restarting the OnApp service
cd /etc/init.d ./onapp restart
This can take up to 20 minutes to re-establish and update. Please also ensure port 5555 is open in your firewall for the licensing server communications.
